How the pieces fit together
A scan produces findings. A finding can carry a proposed action and an estimated saving where it can be priced.
Approved actions run in your AWS account through the cross-account role you deploy. Guardrails run first, a post-check compares the result with what was intended, and reversible actions roll back automatically if that check fails.
Stops and deletions book a list-price saving that is re-checked seven days later before it counts. A change runs without a person only for a reversible action type that an admin has allowed to run on its own for that account.
