Three different category bets. This page lays out where each tool wins on the dimensions a FinOps lead actually decides on — visibility, allocation, detection, and the part almost nobody automates: executing the fix, then proving it worked.
Competitor rows come from a July 2026 sweep of 22 primary sources; the Vantage claims were independently verified, the rest are single-source from vendor documentation. Our own rows are checked against our source code, not our pitch — which is why several of them say partial.

Why we built this lane instead of competing on visibility
Visibility and allocation are crowded, mature categories. Vantage and Finout are the right answers there and we are happy to live alongside them in a stack. The pain we hear from MSPs and platform leads is different: the recommendations have been on the dashboard for weeks, sometimes months, and nobody has the bandwidth or the trust to apply them. Idle instances keep running. Unattached volumes keep billing. Snapshots compound.
Plenty of vendors now execute something. Commitment autopilots buy Savings Plans and RIs autonomously and do it well — that segment is commoditised and we deliberately do not compete in it. Vantage's agent buys commitments too. PointFive opens a Terraform PR and books the realized saving afterwards, which is the most credible savings story in the market.
The narrow thing that is still ours: infrastructure changes that are approval-gated, executed cross-account, automatically rolled back when the post-check fails, and verified from the resource state afterwards — one funnel, with the evidence attached. Not a ticket handed back to an engineer, not a PR waiting for a merge, and not limited to buying commitments. Today that is AWS only, which the table above says plainly.
